Many questions were skillfully dodged and answers carefully constructed but in the end our burner is TFritch.

What happens now?

Monday I will choose an Opponaught that has volunteered to login to a Reddit account and start a thread on /r/Oppositelock. In that thread they will be mercilessly interrogated by our crack team of Opponaught detectives with car related questions. They will answer all the car questions truthfully.

Everyone else?

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to head over to Reddit and ask the car related questions that burn brightest in your soul in an effort to divine which Opponaught is answering your questions. Anyone that wants to volunteer to be behind the burner should PM me on Reddit, where I am also CalzoneGolem.

I enjoyed that, there were some key questions there from Dragon, Peter, and especially Hoccy that sunk me. The key is answering questions in turn. Broad questions get broad (but truthful) answers, specific questions, specific answers. I think Montego might have suspected me, but I just sold the Fairlane so couldn’t answer that I had a 4 door Ford.

I answered everything honestly. The brief is that we’re obligated to answer truthfully, but allowed to “obfuscate to our heart’s content” or something like that. I may have had a bit too much fun with that on the first day, but I didn’t lie about anything and most questions were answered directly. I even gave more information than was asked for by asking questions of myself to move it along! I promised Dragon I wouldn’t mention 4Runners again after that, and I won’t, but I figured anything shy of what he did was fair play. Friends?

I tried to ask as specific questions as possible, without them being too narrow. Once I knew that you had entered Fantasy WRC, the list became a lot shorter! Strange that no others picked up on that.

I expected them to, you drew the line to me pretty quickly from there! I’m the only Opponaut with a Lancia that I’m aware of, so that was sure to get me.

Yeah that’s why I only asked if it was Italian (so that it could still be a Fiat or something), but as no others found out I could do it this time.
